Your guide to the South of France
Property
Buying & selling on the Côte d'Azur
The guides are free and always will be. Property is what I do
professionally: I'm a real estate agent on the Côte d'Azur, and much of
my work is with international clients buying or selling here.
Having lived the move myself, I understand that finding the right property
is only part of it. There's the French buying process, the paperwork, the
notaire, banking, moving and settling in. There are often a dozen practical
questions you didn't know you needed to ask, too.
I speak both sides of that conversation. I understand how property works
here, but also what it feels like when France is not the system you grew up
with.
My role is to help you through the property side of the move and, when
something falls outside my expertise, connect you with the right people
locally.
What I do
Four ways people work with me
Buying
A search built around the life you want
Tell me how you imagine living here, not just how many square metres
you need.
I help narrow down the areas and properties that genuinely fit, preview
homes when it can save you an unnecessary trip, and tell you plainly when
I think a property (or even a village) isn't right for you.
For international buyers, I also help make sense of the process around
the purchase, from the first search through to the notaire and the
practical details of getting settled.
Selling
Priced for this market, not last year's
A realistic valuation, the right preparation before the property goes
live, and marketing that presents your home well without pretending it is
something it isn't.
I work with owners who live here as well as those selling from abroad,
where having someone local to coordinate the details can make an enormous
difference.
Inherited, downsizing or clearing a home
When there's more to deal with than the property
Sometimes selling the house is only one part of the job.
Through our family-run Azur Logistics service, we can help sort and
assess what is in the property, identify pieces worth selling, arrange
appropriate resale or auction where worthwhile, donate usable items and
responsibly clear what remains.
If belongings need to be moved elsewhere in France or abroad, we can
also coordinate packing and shipping with our transport partners.
It means the property, its contents and the practical work around the
sale can be handled together, rather than leaving you to coordinate
several different people from a distance.
Just orienting
Start with a conversation
You don't need to be ready to buy or sell to contact me.
Many people first get in touch months (sometimes a
year) before a move. Tell me roughly what you're considering and
where you are in the process. If I can point you in the right direction,
I will.
